The Lynx placed seventh overall in a field with several Class 4A powers, including winner West Des Moines Dowling. The host Comets were second, followed by Johnston, Ankeny, Roland-Story and Ballard. HUMBOLDT — The Webster City girls track and field team claimed a third-place finish here Monday at a meet hosted by North Central Conference rival Humboldt. Lynx boys fall to Clear Lake

The Webster City boys tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Clear Lake on Monday afternoon. Nathan Wardell pushed his match to a super-tiebreaker after splitting two sets with Walker Willams at the No. 1 singles spot.
