NEWELL — The Webster City baseball team picked up two victories here Saturday at the Newell-Fonda Tournament. The Lynx bested Hinton, 12-0, and topped Council Bluffs St. Albert, 10-2. Carter Mickelson, Braylon Dyvig and Syrus Willard combined on a three-hitter, striking out five with just one walk allowed on the mound for Webster City (12-1 overall). Alex Staley was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI, Aiden Hrnicek drove in three runs and Mickelson plated two with a pair of hits.
