JEWELL — The South Hamilton softball team dropped a pair of one-run games in recent days after picking up two straight victories late last week. The Hawks downed Perry, 10-5, and Janesville, 12-4, falling by a single run to both Hudson, 3-2, and Greene County, 10-9. In the win over Perry, Adelyn Trask hit two home runs, driving in six runs with six hits total and two runs scored. Algona took the opener over Webster City, 5-4, as the Lynx rebounded with a 5-1 victory in the nightcap.
