CLARION — The Webster City girls golf team finally got on the links for North Central Conference action, defeating both Clarion-Goldfield/Dows and Hampton-Dumont/CAL here Friday. The Lynx had a score of 217 led by a 53 from Mylie Keller, which earned the junior runner-up medalist honors. POCAHONTAS — The Webster City boys track and field team capped off last week by competing here at the Pocahontas Area Invitational. The Lynx claimed three relay titles and several other Top-5 individual finishes while nearly setting a five-decade old school-record. GARNER — The Webster City girls soccer team dropped a tough 4-2 decision to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura here Monday night. The Webster City boys tennis team was unable to keep the momentum going from a big win earlier this week going here Tuesday night, falling to Nevada by a 9-0 count.
