JEFFERSON — The Webster City girls golf team dropped a dual to Greene County here Tuesday at The Hill Golf Course, 208-223. Alleyna Dawson led the way for the Lynx, as the senior carded a round of 49. Dawson tied for medalist, losing out on the tiebreaker. The Webster City boys tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Clear Lake on Monday afternoon. Nathan Wardell pushed his match to a super-tiebreaker after splitting two sets with Walker Willams at the No. 1 singles spot. Lynx quartet runs at Drake

DES MOINES — Kali Hartnett, Tessa Hansen, Isabel Weinschenk and Isabel Grossoehme got the chance to experience the Drake Relays here this past Saturday. The Webster City quartet competed in the first round of the 4x100-meter relay from inside Drake Stadium, finishing in a time of 51.63. That was good enough for 83rd overall and fifth in the second heat.
