Cyclone Tailgate Tour coming to FD

The 20th annual Cyclone Tailgate Tour will make a stop in Fort Dodge this May. Iowa State University announced that the tour will begin May 18 and include 10 stops over the five-day run. Racing begins in Hamilton County

Racing action will hit the Hamilton County Speedway dirt track this Saturday night, as five different classes compete for prize money. Due to the USMTS rainout, track officials have put together a night of racing for just $10 for adult admission with kids 11-and-under being free. Racing will take place in the USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Crown Vic classes. All racers are welcome to come and compete on the half-mile semi-banked oval. ALLEMAN — The Webster City boys track and field team had a strong showing here Tuesday night at the North Polk Invitational. The Lynx placed seventh overall in a field with several Class 4A powers, including winner West Des Moines Dowling. The host Comets were second, followed by Johnston, Ankeny, Roland-Story and Ballard.
