The Bill Rice Memorial took place this past weekend at the famed Karl Chevrolet Hamilton County Speedway, as winners were crowned in several classes.

Along with the usual classes hitting the half-mile semi-banked dirt oval, the Tri-State Late Model Series was featured in honor of Rice, who raced for over four decades in drag racing and off-road racing, in addition to being a supporter of the Webster City track.

Cole Searing won the 30-lap Dirt Late Models feature after placing third in the heat portion of the event. J.T. Wasmund was second, Tim Ward third, Justin Zeitner fourth and Shane DeMey fifth.

Dylan Nelson took the checkered flag in the USRA Hobby Stocks, working his way up from seventh to first to overtake Scott Dobel. Riley Crimmins, Tanner Green and Branden Schaer rounded out the Top-5.

In the USRA Modifieds, Lyle Sathoff placed first ahead of Christopher Elliott, Ben Nading, Greg Elliott and Brad Johnson. Brandon Hare won the USRA Stock Cars main, with Brock Badger, Myles Michehl, Paul Conrad and Andrew Inman completing the Top-5.

Ty Griffith was the winner of the USRA B-Mods main race, with Oliver Sackett finishing second. Doug McCollough placed third, Bryer McCoy was fourth and Tianna Mithun fifth.

The Crown Vics main went to Nate Hogan, as Taylor Andringa, Nick Sawdy, Jim Hogan and Gerald Ford followed.

Up next for the track will be the Mike Baker Memorial on Saturday, July 11.
