ANKENY — The Webster City baseball team dropped a tough 7-6 decision to Urbandale here Saturday at the Prange Classic.

The Lynx took a quick 5-0 lead, scoring three in the first inning and two more in the second. The J-Hawks rallied, tying it in the fifth.

But Webster City (16-8 overall) was able to regain the lead in the bottom of the fifth before Urbandale won it with a run in the seventh.

Matthew Tesdahl finished with two doubles, driving in a run and scoring once. Braylon Dyvig and Kaleb Hansen each added an RBI, as Jaxon Griffith finished with two hits and a run scored.

The Lynx head to Hampton for a North Central Conference doubleheader with Hampton-Dumont/CAL beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday night.
