The Webster City boys tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Clear Lake on Monday afternoon. Nathan Wardell pushed his match to a super-tiebreaker after splitting two sets with Walker Willams at the No. 1 singles spot. Wardell dropped the first set, 6-3, bouncing back to take the second, 6-2. Williams, though, won the match with a 13-11 victory in the super-tiebreaker. HUMBOLDT — The Webster City girls track and field team claimed a third-place finish here Monday at a meet hosted by North Central Conference rival Humboldt. The Lynx had a score of 217 led by a 53 from Mylie Keller, which earned the junior runner-up medalist honors.
