JEWELL — The South Hamilton baseball team will be looking for its first win of the season on Thursday when they host Nevada. The Hawks have been in games with Perry and Greene County in recent days, falling to the Jays, 8-4, and the Rams, 11-6. Jackson Olmstead and Kash Northrop each had an RBI vs. Perry, as Northrop stole three bases. Garrett Johnson recorded seven strikeouts on the mound in four-plus innings. JEWELL — The South Hamilton softball team dropped a pair of one-run games in recent days after picking up two straight victories late last week. The Hawks downed Perry, 10-5, and Janesville, 12-4, falling by a single run to both Hudson, 3-2, and Greene County, 10-9. In the win over Perry, Adelyn Trask hit two home runs, driving in six runs with six hits total and two runs scored.
