Webster City girls compete at Humboldt
HUMBOLDT — The Webster City girls track and field team claimed a third-place finish here Monday at a meet hosted by North Central Conference rival Humboldt. Algona placed first overall, with the Wildcats second. The Lynx were followed in the team standings by Pocahontas Area, Southeast Valley, Hampton-Dumont/CAL, Estherville-LC and St. Edmond. Isabel Grossoehme won the 400-meter dash, going 1:04.60, while also anchoring both the sprint medley and 4x400 relays to gold medals.
