JEWELL — The South Hamilton baseball team opened the season with pair of games last week.

After falling to Nevada, 17-0, the Hawks dropped a 17-7 decision to Gladbrook-Reinbeck.

Both Holden Moore and Brody Harris had two hits, drove in two runs and scored a run vs. Gladbrook-Reinbeck, as Jackson Olmstead scored twice and stole three bases

Garrett Johnson and Titus Herrick each added an RBI and a run scored.

South Hamilton heads to Des Moines to take on Grand View Christian on Wednesday and is at Roland-Story on Friday. They make their home debut on Monday vs. West Marshall.
