Delainey Bargfrede, Kelly Stoakes and Alayna Finucan were key leaders throughout the softball season for Webster City.

And all three were honored by the North Central Conference as first team all-league selections, with Bargfrede one of just four unanimous choices.

Ava Peterson, Bonnie Nohrenberg, Adeline Tesdahl and Trinity Griffith earned second team honors from Webster City, while Livia Kasch was on the third-team.

Bargfrede, just a sophomore, went 13-1 in the NCC, striking out 137 batters in 93 innings. Opponents hit just .188 against her and she had a 1.66 earned run average.

At the plate, Bargfrede drove in nine with 10 hits, four doubles and nine walks.

Stoakes, who set several school records during the year, hit .389 with 14 hits, seven doubles and 13 walks. Finucan, a senior, had a .421 batting average with 16 hits, seven RBI and 11 runs scored while stealing 14 bases.

Peterson hit .341 with 17 RBI, seven doubles and two homers. Nohrenberg had 12 hits, eight runs and six RBI.

Tesdahl drove in five and had eight hits, and Griffith recorded a .447 batting average with 10 RBI and 21 hits.

Kasch had 11 hits, eight runs and eight RBI in league play.

Webster City (22-7 overall) shared the NCC title with St. Edmond.
