Police Reports

On Feb. 12, a 2008 Nissan VSA was legally parked in front of 1303 Willson Ave. At some point in the night, the Nissan was reportedly struck by an unknown vehicle who fled the scene. There was no one in the Nissan. There were no injuries. The Nissan sustained an estimated $1,000 in functional damage.

Rose L. Plain, Webster City, was backing from a parking space on Feb. 10 and failed to see a 2009 Ford Mustang parked behind her. The Mustang was not properly parked in the space marked on the pavement. The Mustang reportedly parked half a car length from the front of the space. Plain’s vehicle sustained an estimated $500 in minor damage. The Mustang sustained an estimated $1,500 in minor damage.

On Feb. 10, Tanya M. Jensen, Webster City, was backing south bound out of a driveway on Meadow Lane. A 2004 Pontiac Grand Am was legally parked east bound in front of 1216 Meadow Lane. Jensen did not see the Pontiac and hit it as result. There were no injuries. Jensen’s vehicle sustained an estimated $200 in repair costs. The Pontiac sustained an estimated $400 in minor damage.

On Feb. 10, Sierra A. Anderson, Eagle Grove, backed into a 2007 Ford F150 on Second Street. Anderson’s vehicle sustained an estimated $300 in minor damage. The Ford sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage.

A two vehicle accident occurred on Feb. 6. Sabrina A. Gale, Fort Dodge, was traveling east bound on Elm Street. Pangkham Somvong, Webster City, was stopped in traffic facing east on Elm Street. Gale was reportedly distracted by a passenger and failed to stop in assured clear distance. The front bumper of Gale’s vehicle collided into the rear bumper of Somvong’s vehicle. There were no injuries. Gale’s vehicle sustained an estimated $500 in minor damage. Somvong’s vehicle sustained an estimated $500 in minor damage.

Christopher A. Hopes. Des Moines, was arrested on Feb. 1 for possession of paraphernalia.

A warrant was served on Jan. 31 to arrest Nikki P. Khamsai, Webster City.

Juan A. Curio Sanchez, Webster City, was arrested on Jan. 29 for OWI.

A warrant was served on Jan. 29 to arrest Ashley J. Gruver, Webster City.
