4-H news

Cass Red Cardinals

The Cass Red Cardinals held a meeting at the Hamilton County Extension Office on June 18. The Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Jamin Stuhr. Roll Call was answered by members indicating, “What’s something you should bring to 4-H camp?” The treasurer’s report was read by Reese Casey. The secretary’s report was read by Fallon Casey.

In old business we talked about the 100 year celebration concert, and a recap of all the 4-H camps.

In new business we discussed the paper work that needs to be completed for fair entries due on June 26. The 4-H pledge was lead by Teagan Gourley. We had 3 presentations this meeting, the first was Lydia Vandeer and Addilyn Orton showed us how to make a marshmallow shooter. Next Addison Hayes and Breanna Bahrenfuss shared with us how to make a DIY snow globe. Finally Garret Arnold showed us the different types of bows and the different parts of the bow. The next meeting will be held on Sunday July 16, 2017 at 4 p.m. at the Hamilton County Fair Grounds.
