4-H Club News

The Boone Boosters 4-H club meeting was held on Aug. 19 at the Hamilton County Extension Office. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Landon Crawford. Ten members and one guest answered the role call by telling one thing they learned at fair this year.

The secretary’s report was read by Gianna Borer. The treasurer’s report was read by Gemma Borer.

The club discussed old business. Emma Bailey reported for the Float/Fair Booth Committee — the Boone Boosters’ Booth won third Place. Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser results were reviewed.

Under new business the Boone Booster’s discussed Green Appreciation Week. All record books due by Sept. 1 to the Baileys. Katie Greenfield distributed information on 4-H State Council. Reminder to turn in pop tabs. Members shared their Fair results.

After the meeting, the Boone Boosters went to Fort Frenzy for the afternoon.

The next meeting will be held on Sept. 9 at the Girl Scouts Cabin
