Hamilton County Road Department reopens portion of Tucker Ave.

After being closed for three weeks’ time, a stretch of country road in between Blairsburg and Interstate 35 has been reopened.

In a Thursday morning announcement from the county, a section of Tucker Ave., located between 220 St. and 210 St., north of County Road D25 and west of Interstate 35, was opened back up for traffic. For the past three weeks, the road had been closed for a box culvert replacement.

Tucker Ave, between 220th St and 210th St, has been reopened to all traffic.

However, there is some more road work on tap around Hamilton County.

According to Ryan Weidemann, Hamilton County engineer, there is some work being done on County Road D25 from the curve south of Williams eastbound to Ziegler Avenue.

There will also be some work on County Road R75 to County Road D20, north of the Wright County line, and work done on County Road D25 to the County Road R38 intersection.

Traffic control will range from flaggers to pilot cars.

“We ask everyone in the area to please use caution when on those roads,” Weidemann said.

Starting at $3.46/week.
