JACE TO THE FINISH

IOWA FALLS — The Webster City boys pulled out a 54-53 road win over Iowa Falls-Alden here Tuesday night.

Jace Larson recorded a game-high 18 points, finishing 9-for-9 from the field. The junior also had seven rebounds, two blocked shots and a steal.

Briar Klaver joined him in double figures with 17, knocking down three 3-pointers while grabbing nine rebounds. Cole Miller added six points on a pair of 3-pointers.

The Cadets took a slim 45-42 lead into the fourth before the Lynx (6-12 overall, 6-6 in North Central Conference) were able to rally.

Jaden Damiano had 12 points and Carter Weaver 11 for Iowa Falls-Alden.

Kaleb White added three assists with both Trevyn Lyons and Conner Peck dishing out two for Webster City, who has won four straight between the two.

In a 54-47 loss to Newton this past weekend, Klaver had 12 points with eight rebounds, while Jace Larson added eight points and six boards.

The Lynx return to the court Friday night when they host top-ranked (Class 3A) Clear Lake, who has already clinched the NCC crown. They end the regular season with two games next week, hosting Algona on Tuesday and Boone Thursday for Senior Night.
