Lynx golfers third at Panorama

The Webster City boys’ golf team had six players score in the 40s — the only team in the field to do so — but that depth didn’t translate into team success Friday at Lake Panorama National in Panora.

The Lynx team total of 182 was third in the field of three. Panorama and Carroll Kuemper both shot 176.

Chase Rattenborg led WCHS with a 42, good enough for the runner-up medal behind Panorama’s Ryan Klinge (38).

Devon Stoakes fired a 46 for the Lynx, while Garrett Arnold and Trey Lyons both shot 47. Trey Shannon and Drew Schwering turned in rounds of 49.

Beau Klaver paced the WCHS junior varsity with a 42.
