Lynx blanked by A-P, 9-0

PARKERSBURG — Aplington-Parkersburg swept six matches and dropped just five games in a 9-0 boys’ tennis dual-meet victory over Webster City here Tuesday evening.

“It was a rough night out for us,” WCHS head coach Michael Ross said. “The boys are doing a great job of staying positive … and the improvement is there. I’m seeing rallies out of each of them that weren’t possible four weeks ago.”

Seth Nelson and Brody Henderson both won two games in their Nos. 5 and 6 singles matches for the Lynx (0-5). Evan Estlund took one game.

A-P (4-1) earned 10-0 sweeps in all three doubles matches, as well as from Cam Luhring, Aaron Price and Riley Oberhauser in the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 singles bouts.
