Steffen D. Chambers, Webster City, was arrested on April 23 for public intoxication. On April 23, Morgan L. Greif, Milo, was traveling west bound on Highway 20 near the 140 mile marker. Greif stated that a deer was standing in the middle of the road and she could not avoid it. The front bumper and hood had impact damage. The headlight and fog light were broken due to impact. On April 8, Alyssa A. Redenius, We, was traveling east on 210th Street. A deer ran across the road traveling south. Redenius’ vehicle collided with the deer. Redenius’ vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side headlight as a result of the collision. The deer was injured and dispatched by law enforcement. On Feb. 12, a 2008 Nissan VSA was legally parked in front of 1303 Willson Ave. At some point in the night, the Nissan was reportedly struck by an unknown vehicle who fled the scene. There was no one in the Nissan. There were no injuries. The Nissan sustained an estimated $1,000 in functional damage. Rose L. Plain, Webster City, was backing from a parking space on Feb. 10 and failed to see a 2009 Ford Mustang parked behind her. The Mustang was not properly parked in the space marked on the pavement. On Jan. 24, Jeri S. Elliott, Webster City, was traveling west bound on First Street. Loren D. Anderson, Webster City, was driving a road grader and was traveling north bound on Broadway Street plowing snow. Elliott attempted to stop for a stop sign located at the intersection of First Street and Broadway Street, but slid into the intersection due to slick road conditions. On Jan. 10, Officer Joel Delaney was providing traffic control on East Second Street when Ole C. Wibolm, Blairsburg, drove around all of the stopped vehicles and tried to pass them. Delaney advised Wibolm to stop in which he applied his brake and slid on the ice into a vehicle driven by Michael J. Pruismann, Webster City. Wibolm reportedly told Officer Delaney that he did see all the other vehicles stopped, but thought he could go around them.
