Steffen D. Chambers, Webster City, was arrested on April 23 for public intoxication.

On April 23, Morgan L. Greif, Milo, was traveling west bound on Highway 20 near the 140 mile marker. Greif stated that a deer was standing in the middle of the road and she could not avoid it. The front bumper and hood had impact damage. The headlight and fog light were broken due to impact. Greif’s vehicle sustained an estimated $6,000 in disabling damage.

Peter M. Wilcox, Webster City, was traveling east down Tasler Drive on April 20 when he saw that a semi was traveling west on Tasler Drive. Wilcox was driving one of the work trucks used by Tasler Pallet. Wilcox stopped and backed up to make room for the semi. While backing up, Wilcox struck a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. There were no injuries. Wilcox’s vehicle sustained an estimated $100 in minor damage. The Dodge sustained an estimated $600 in minor damage.

A warrant was served to arrest Derek R. Wagner, Webster City, on April 20.

On April 17, Nicole A. Ascherl, Duncombe, hit a deer in the 100 block of Mackinlay Kantor Drive. The deer impacted the driver’s side bumper. There was a dent in her bumper and front fender. Ascherl complained of head and neck pain and was transported to Van Diest Medical Center for her injuries. Ascherl’s vehicle sustained an estimated $1,500 in minor damage.

On April 15, Scott A. McConnell, Webster City, was driving around the parking lot to access the fuel pumps at Doc Stop. As McConnell was making his way around the pumps, another vehicle was approaching. McConnell was reportedly watching the other vehicle and did not see a light pole in the parking lot. The front of McConnell’s vehicle collided with the light pole. McConnell complained of back and neck pain. McConnell’s vehicle sustained an estimated $2,000 in functional damage.
