On Jan. 7, Robert A. Joslin, Webster City, was traveling east on West Second Street when he reportedly reached for an object and struck a parked 2004 Ford Mustang. The Mustang was legally parked against the curb. There were no injuries. Joslin’s vehicle sustained an estimated $1,200 in disabling damage. The Mustang sustained an estimated $1,000 in disabling damage.

A warrant to arrest Jessie J. Junkman, Fort Dodge, was served on Jan. 4.

On Jan. 1, the Webster City Police Department received a call of a motor vehicle accident. When Officer Petersen arrived on scene, Brandon C. Ausenhus, Webster City, had reportedly struck a parked 2007 Chevy Avalanche. Petersen conducted field sobriety tests on Ausenhus and he was intoxicated, according to reports. Ausenhus reportedly consented to a P.B.T. and the results showed a Br. A.C. of .185 percent. At the jail, the Datamaster showed a Br.A.C. of .188 percent. Ausenhus’ vehicle sustained an estimated $10,000 in severe damage. The Chevy sustained an estimated $5,000 in minor damage.

Brandon C. Ausenhus, Webster City, was arrested on Jan. 1 for operating while intoxicated.

Cody W. Simons, Webster City, was arrested on Dec. 31 for third degree burglary (aiding and abetting).

Brandon J. Pringle, Stanhope, was arrested on Dec. 31 for third degree burglary (aggravated misdemeanor).
