Police report 4/2

On March 23, Nicholas W. Janvrin, of Webster City, was charged with disorderly conduct and driving with a revoked license. He was also served with a warrant. In connection with those charges, Eddie L. Poe III, of Omaha, Neb., was charged with disorderly conduct.

On March 20, Christopher L. Long, of Duncombe, was charged with forgery. He allegedly stole an envelope containing a check for $176.20, altered the check, then tried to cash the check.

On March 24, Carla S. Grooms, of Webster City, was charged with simple assault and serious assault. In connection with those charges, Wendy L. Kelly, of Webster City, was charged with aggravated assault. The police report indicated that Kelly used a knife or cutting instrument as a weapon. A samurai sword was listed as property recovered by police.
