Author Jocelyn Green will talk about her book “Savior, Soldiers, Spies: Women in the Civil War” Thursday, November 9, at Kendall Young Library, 1201 Willson Ave., Webster City.

The event begins at 6 p.m.

Her work includes “The Metropolitan Affair,” “The Windy City Saga,” “The Mark of the King,” and “The 5 Love Languages Military Edition,” which she coauthored with bestselling author Dr. Gary Chapman.

Her books have been honored with the Christy Award, the gold medal from the Military Writers Society of America, and the Golden Scroll Award from the Advanced Writers & Speakers Association. She lives in Cedar Falls.
