Hamilton Co. debate will feature Pruismann, Turpen

The Hamilton County Debate Night on Tuesday, May 14, will feature Alex Pruismann and David Turpen, two Republican candidates seeking the office of Hamilton County sheriff.

This event is being held in the Webster City High School auditorium, 1001 Lynx Avenue, Webster City.

It begins at 6:30 p.m. with a meet and greet. The debate begins at 7 p.m.

Pruismann and Turpen are expected to discuss their goals and priorities for a role as sheriff in Hamilton County. Pruismann is a deputy sheriff in Hamilton County. Turpen is chief of the Ellsworth, Jewell, Stanhope Police Department. The Republican primary is on June 4.

Kevin Virgil, who is seeking to unseat Iowa Congressman Randy Feenstra from his 4th District office, is also expected to attend.

The event is sponsored by the Hamilton County Republican Central Committee.
