CONNOR LARSON
Webster City High School – Business
Connor Larson is a graduate of Webster City High School. He earned his degree from Grand View University, and spent time as a PE and Debt Relief teacher at the Atlantic Community School District in Atlantic, IA. This year, he will be teaching business classes at Webster City High School for all grade levels.
In his free time, Connor enjoys coaching wrestling, and hanging out with friends and family. He is looking forward to getting to work with the kids and watching them grow.
DAN SHEA
Webster City High School – Art
Dan Shea is a graduate of MMCRU (Marcus-Meridan-Cleghorn-Remsen Union) in Marcus, IA. He has his BFA and MFA from Iowa State University. He's currently a RAPIL student and did his practicum hours with Gilbert Middle School and High School. He previously worked at ISU for the Parks Library for 20 years. This year, he will be teaching Art at Webster City High School.
Dan has been married for 19 years and is a father of four. He loves art (of course), comics, and music. He's played bass and sang in several bands over the years. He also loves books, pizza, and all things bread baking. He is truly looking forward to a new career where he can educate and share his passion for art. "It has been a long time coming."
MACKENZIE LEE
Sunset Heights Elementary – Special Education
Mackenzie Lee is a graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High, in Fort Dodge, IA. She earned her degree in Elementary Teaching, Literacy Endorsement, and Special Education Strategy 1 from the University of Northern Iowa. Most recently, she taught special education for five years with the Forth Dodge Community Schools. This year, she will be teaching Special Education at Sunset Heights Elementary.
Mackenzie is the oldest of seven girls. She enjoys reading, time outdoors, concerts, and time with friends and family. She was a classroom teacher for two years before teaching special education for the last six years. She is most excited to get students excited about learning. She is anxious about getting to work and learning from the amazing teachers at Sunset Heights.
