Lynx dominant in baseball opener
CLARION — The Webster City baseball team was all business in their season opener on Monday, defeating Clarion-Goldfield/Dows 15-0 in five innings. The Lynx plated three runs in the first inning, then finished the contest via the mercy rule with four runs in the fourth and seven more in the fifth. Eight different Webster City players collected hits, as Jaxon Griffith and Braylon Dyvig had two apiece.
