SAYDEL — The Webster City baseball team rallied past Saydel here Tuesday night, 6-5.
After falling behind 5-0, the Lynx (6-5 overall) scored three in the fifth and three in the seventh to secure the road win.
Josh Griep went the distance, striking out one while allowing nine hits with two walks over seven innings. He also added a hit at the plate.
Trevyn Lyons and Matthew Tesdahl each had two RBI with Keegan Hisler scoring twice. Lyons drew two walks and Hisler was hit twice by pitches.
Jaxon Griffith and Briar Klaver both drove in a run.
Webster City hosts Pocahontas Area Thursday in another non-North Central Conference affair beginning at 5:30 p.m.
