GILBERT — The Webster City girls saw their season come to a close here Wednesday night, falling to Gilbert in a Class 4A regional contest, 71-29.

The game marked the final one for Lynx seniors Addyson Beaulieu, Caitlyn Gapp and Joleah Stuhr.

Stuhr scored a team-high eight points with Olivia Gallentine adding seven and Marissa Hedeen six.

Ady Poppen had seven rebounds.

For Gilbert, Ella Henningsen scored a game-high 18 points as the Tigers raced out to a 39-7 lead. They face Mason City on Saturday in a regional semifinal.
