To the Editor:

The Mission Boards of Faith UMC and First Congregational UCC want to thank all who participated in the annual Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social on June 15 for their generous response.

Homemade ice cream, bars, beverages and workers were provided by both churches. Entertainment was provided by the Webster City Community Theatre whose delightful preview of their production, “Fiddler on the Roof” pleased all who attended.

Ecumenical Human Needs and Upper Des Moines Opportunities will be the recipients of the proceeds of the social. Thank you Webster City. We’ll see you next year.
