To the editor:

I have known Alex for almost a decade and want to recommend him for the position of sheriff of Hamilton County.

What I see in Alex is probably what everyone sees. But for those of you who don’t know him, he is a stand up guy! The personality traits that I see in Alex and what would make him a great sheriff are: leadership, integrity, honesty, fairness, conscientiousness and a sense of humor.

He has an even temperament that is essential and believes in a collaborative atmosphere. He will listen to others and take all things into consideration if warranted, but can also make quick difficult decisions if necessary.

Alex has some great ideas to take Hamilton County in the direction it needs to go. Kristy and I can’t wait to see him become sheriff.
