Linde Inc.’s pending air quality permit up for public comment, review
DES MOINES – In a recent news release, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ Air Quality Bureau is asking for public comment before finalizing a draft permit for Linde Inc., a carbon dioxide plant located at 3160 200th St. in Duncombe.
Linde Inc. submitted an application to operate their existing Industrial Gases facility.
DNR considers public comments before finalizing permits. You can submit comments in writing to the assigned permit writer before 4:30 p.m. on the last day of the public comment period.
The public has the right and is encouraged to comment on draft permits. These permits help protect Iowans’ health and the air throughout the area and state.
DNR’s permitting staff review the applications to ensure facilities comply with state and federal air quality standards.
The public comment period ends on July 29.
