New clinic another sign of growth for WC

The new Van Diest Family Health Clinic will officially open for business on Monday. Construction on the 16,400-square-foot clinic was completed in less than a year and will offer space for as many as nine providers and multiple exam and treatment rooms. The facility has also built in room for future expansion and the addition of more services.

Webster City and Hamilton County residents can have a look at the spacious new clinic space today as the official ribbon cutting is planned for 10 a.m. with an open house to follow.

The clinic in the southern part of Webster City joins several new builds that have gone up in the past few years – WCF Financial Bank, ShopKo Hometown and Maharry Family Dentistry. It’s exciting to see the level of commitment to the community and the county in terms of economic growth. Plentiful local health care options, quality schools, attractive parks and recreational opportunities are all amenities that attract new business and new residents.

The Daily Freeman-Journal commends the Van Diest Medical Center for looking to the future and recognizing the need to help keep health care services local and accessible.
