Blood Drive at VDMC today

The Webster City Community Blood Drive is today from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Van Diest Medical Center.

This will be held in the Clinic Board room located at 2350 Hospital Drive.

Appointments are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome. For more information call 1-800-287-4903.

Women’s Club meets Monday at Career Ag Academy

The next meeting of the Webster City Woman’s Club will be July 13 at 1:30 p.m. at the Career Ag Building at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.

The program is “Career Ag Academy” by Kurt Veldhuizen in an air-conditioned new building. We will also view baby chicks and pigs.

Those carpooling should meet at the Community Theatre parking lot at 1:00 p.m., with departure at 1:05 p.m. to the fairgrounds. Those driving should meet at the fairgrounds at 1:30 p.m.. The Career Ag Academy is the first building on the right when entering the gate, where the former floral hall was located.

The greeter will be Jan Faint and pie and homemade ice cream will be served by Donna Bristow, Kathy Kolbeck, Susan Meinders and Carol Crystal. Members are encouraged to wear red, white and blue or a Hamilton County Fair Tshirt

Bring a friend. Any woman in Hamilton County is welcome to attend.

Hamilton County Supervisors meeting Tuesday

The regular meeting of the Hamilton County Supervisors will be held on Tuesday, July 14 at 9 a.m.

The meeting will be held in the basement of the Hamilton County Courthouse, which is located at 2300 Superior St.
