BRADLEY ONLINE BENEFIT ENDS TODAY: The online fundraiser for Webster City High School graduate Katie (Niggemeyer) Bradley will end this evening when raffle drawings for two halves of a hog will be held on Facebook.

Raffle tickets can still be purchased prior to the drawings — $10 for one ticket, or they can be purchased in groups of five ($40) or 13 ($100). Please visit the Spike Cancer: Katie Bradley’s Benefit Facebook page for details. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Bradley family.

A 2005 WCHS graduate, Bradley was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma this spring, and she is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Bradley was a multiple-sport standout at WCHS. A top-75 national volleyball recruit coming out of high school, Bradley played collegiately at Wichita State University. She currently resides with her family in Arizona.

LYNX FRESHMEN WIN AGAIN: The Webster City freshman softball team knocked off Humboldt, 7-1, last week to remain unbeaten on the season.

Bonnie Nohrenberg tossed a one-hitter inside the pitcher’s circle and struck out seven Wildcat batters.

Nohrenberg also smacked one of the Lynx six hits, all of which were singles, and scored two runs. Ellie Weinschenk, Delainey Bargfrede, Caitlyn Gapp, Jill Symens and Kennedy Halling accounted for the team’s other hits.
