JEWELL – Another successful volleyball season let to another postseason accolade recently for South Hamilton junior outside hitter Ady Wintermote.

Wintermote, a two-time first-team all-Heart of Iowa Conference performer, was named to the Class 2A all-district team in the Central District.

Wintermote guided the Hawks to an 18-9 overall record, a runner-up finish in the HOIC and a trip to the 2A regional semifinal round. South Hamilton’s season ended at the hands of state semifinalist Dike-New Hartford.

Wintermote led South Hamilton in a number of statistical categories – kills (302), kills per set (3.97), kill efficiency (.380), solo blocks (60) and total blocks (63). She ranked second on the team in digs (220) and service aces (27).
