Karl King band: A special night at the band shell
The Sunday evening concerts by the Karl L. King Municipal Band of Fort Dodge will continue on June 28, with a concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the band shell in Oleson Park. Dan Cassady is the band’s conductor, and Paul Bloomquist is the band’s announcer. There will be many special treats in store as well, even before the band starts playing. Webster City School Board approves agreement for site survey
The Webster City Board of Education met briefly Thursday in a special session to review the bids for the Webster City High School site survey. The survey takes in the entire property owned by the school system surrounding the high school, including the ball fields and the small piece of farm land that is currently being farmed.
