Police Reports

On April 23, Taylor J. Romp, Webster City, was traveling west bound on Willow Street. Romp failed to see a 2002 Ford Econoline due to extreme sun glare. The front of Romp’s vehicle collided with the Ford. The Ford was hauling a construction trailer. The Ford wasn’t damaged. The trailer had significant damage. Neither vehicle involved was insured. The Ford was unoccupied and legally parked. Romp’s vehicle sustained an estimated $3,000.00 in severe damage and was totaled. The Ford sustained an estimated $1,500.00 in functional damage. Romp was cited for failure to prove security against liability.

Police Reports

Julia E. Gomez Lopez, Webster City, was arrested on April 21 for prohibited practices.

Anthony W. Birkey, Fort Dodge, was arrested on April 21 for the violation of a restraining order.

Zachary J. Clausen, Webster City, was arrested on April 20 for all other larceny.

Cody R. Lamirande, Webster City, was arrested on April 19 for driving while license suspended.

A warrant was served to arrest Brett T. Adams, Webster City, on April 19.

Mark E. Leeper, Webster City, was arrested on April 15 for 5th degree theft.

Nathaniel S. Ruiz, Webster City, was arrested on April 14 for the following offenses: burglary/breaking and entering, assault of a peace officer, violation of a restraining order, and interference with official acts.

A warrant was served to arrest Brian S. Halligan, Fort Dodge, on April 13.

Bonnie A. Stockfleth, Webster City, was backing out of a parking spot in the redemption center parking lot when the left rear bumper of Stockfleth’s vehicle collided into the right rear side of a vehicle driven by Dominick R. Herrman, Jewell. Herrman was stopped in the parking lot, facing north, waiting to turn onto Second Street at the time of the collision. There were no injuries. Both vehicles sustained an estimated $500 in damage.

Lance A. Clabaugh,?Webster City, was arrested on April 8 for fifth degree theft.

Gregory R. Eyanson, Alexander, was arrested on April 2 for public intoxication.

Two pairs of shoes and a pair of Jam Transit headphones were reported stolen from ShopKo on March 27.

Police Reports

On April 11, a Chevrolet single-unit truck was left out of gear while parked in the Hamilton County Courthouse parking lot. The Chevrolet rolled down the inclined parking lot and struck a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado on the box of the truck. There were no injuries due to neither vehicle having a driver at the time of the accident. The single-unit truck did not receive any damage. The Silverado received an estimated $2,500 in damage.

On April 8, Liza J. Runyon, Stratford, was backing from a parking spot near the utility shed at the high school when she bumped into a vehicle driven by Samantha A. McCormick, Webster City. McCormick reported she stopped to wait for other traffic when this accident occurred. Both vehicles received an estimated $75 in damage.

A warrant was served to arrest Dustin D. Harris, Webster City, on April 4.

Austin W. Wildt, Webster City, was arrested on April 3 for domestic simple assault.

Kelsey L. Starits, Webster City, was arrested on April 3 for domestic simple assault.

Jesse L. McLeod, Moorland, was arrested for public intoxication on April 2.

Ty K. Wild, Stanhope, was arrested for driving while suspended on March 31.

A warrant was served to arrest Walfred Garcia-Utrera, Kamrar, on March 27.

A two vehicle accident occurred on April 4 in the Iowa Central Community College parking lot. Alicia M. Halbur, Ames, was backing from a parking space. Laine M. Noah, Iowa Falls, was driving through the parking lot. The front of Laine’s vehicle collided with the rear of Halbur’s vehicle. Laine claims there was no damage to her vehicle. Halbur’s vehicle sustained an estimated $500.00 in minor damage. There were no injuries. The incident occurred on April 4, but was not reported until April 5.

Police Reports

On March 30, Jayme L. Jackson, Webster City, was traveling west on First Street when a cat ran out in front of Jackson. Jackson swerved to miss the cat, colliding with a 2003 Suzuki that was legally parked and unoccupied. There were no injuries. Jackson’s vehicle sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage. The Suzuki sustained an estimated $4,000 in damage.

On March 30, Alan K. Ose was backing out of a parking spot. A 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt was unoccupied and legally parked in a parking spot across from Ose, facing south. The rear hitch of Ose’s vehicle collided into the rear bumper of the Cobalt. There were no injuries. The Cobalt sustained an estimated $500 in damage. Ose’s vehicle did not receive any damage.

A 17 year-old Webster City male was arrested on March 24 and charged with intimidation and harassment.
