Police Report

Mylie E. Kunz, Webster City, was traveling east on James St. on Jan. 12. Kunz’s vehicle was struck on the driver’s door by a deer coming out of the south ditch. Kunz’s vehicle received an estimated $1,000.00 in minor damage.

Rodney A. Whitecotton, Peterson, was attempting to drive down the alley from the 800 block of Prospect St. Whitecotton backed out of the alley and hit a 2016 GMC Acadia . The Acadia was parked legally on the 800 block of Prospect St. There were no injuries. The Acadia received an estimated $2,000 in minor damage. The accident occurred on Jan. 11.

Maddisen P. Rholl, Webster City, was arrested on Jan. 9 for disorderly conduct.

Jeffrey D. Fitzgerald, Webster City, was arrested on Jan. 9 for the violation of a restraining order.

Tolentina Virgen-Sanchez, Webster City, and Velma J. Knoll, Webster City, were northbound on Superior St. at about the 2000 block when Virgen-Sanchez veered right into Knoll causing approximately $750 to both vehicles. Virgen-Sanchez was cited for failure to have a valid driver’s license. There was snow and ice on the roadway. The two-vehicle accident occurred on Dec. 23.

On Dec. 10, Officer Long was dispatched to a car vs. deer accident on Highway 20. Dennis D. Egger, Webster City, was parked on the left shoulder of the eastbound land of Highway 20. Egger stated that he had been driving east when a deer had jumped from the south side of the ditch and tried to cross the road. Egger hit the deer with the right front corner of his truck. The deer bent the front bumper into the left-front tire and broke the left headlight out. Egger was not injured. The estimated damage was $1,500.
