A?21-year-old Webster City man was injured in a single-vehicle accident on the Second Street Bridge Friday night.

Miguel Cobo-Cobo was driving a 2007 Toyota Scion when he reportedly veered off the road and the vehicle’s passenger side tires rode up the bridge guardrail and turned over on its side. Cobo-Cobo was transported to Van Diest Medical Center where he was medically placed unconscious. Cobo-Cobo was later transported by air ambulanceto Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. His condion is not known.The vehicle had extensive damage to the front bumper, hood and front axle. There was damage to the undercarriage where the guardrail hit the bottom of the vehicle. The driver’s side of the vehicle was dented and scraped from the turnover. Damage was estimated to be $10,000.
