Brad and Shawna Schmidt, of Kamrar, won the 50/50 cash prize drawing at the New Year’s Gala. The Schmidts donated their winnings, approximately $360, back to the Briggs Woods Conference Center’s staff who were working the event. Brad Schmidt said, “I figured if they were having to work on New Year’s Eve watching all of us have a good time, they deserved it!”
