Kitty Rummage sale to benefit cats and kittens in Hamilton County
The Cat Hut and Hamilton County Animal Advocates announces the third annual Rummage Sale, a community-driven fundraiser to support local cats and kittens in need.
The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on June 19 and from 8 a.m. to noon on June 20 at the Ed Prince Building, Hamilton County Fairgrounds, located at 1200 Bluff St. in Webster City.
Shoppers can browse a variety of donated treasures, with a special “Fill a Grocery Bag for $10” deal available on Friday from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m. and “Fill a Grocery Bag for $5” deal available on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
More valuable items will be marked separately. All items not specially marked are available for a freewill donation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.
Community Donations are welcome and encouraged.
Residents are encouraged to donate gently used items to support the sale. Donation drop-off days will be held at The Cat Hut starting now through Tuesday, June 16 during open hours. Those hours are:
• Tuesdays through Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Donations will also be accepted at the Ed Prince Building only on the following dates:
• Wednesday, June 17, from 9 a.m to 12 p.m.
• Thursday, June 18th, from 9 a.m to 12 p.m.
Accepted items include books, tools, pet supplies, home décor, small appliances, electronics, puzzles, games, toys, and non-upholstered furniture.
