Clean-up Drop Off on June 13 & 14 for Webster City residents

The City of Webster City will be holding the no-fee clean up days for residents of Webster City on June 13 from noon to 4 p.m. and June 14 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Webster City Middle School parking lot.

Items that will be accepted that day only will be: appliances, box fans/ceiling fans, batteries, carpet pieces, computer towers, exercise equipment/bicycles, grills, lawn furniture, household furniture, microwaves, misc. household items and scrap metal items.

Items not accepted include animal carcasses, nothing with liquid in it, such as batteries, paint cans, oil cans, etc., concrete, bricks or rocks, printers or fax machines, gun ammo, fireworks, propane tanks/cylinders, hazardous materials, regular household garbage, large amounts of building materials, roofing materials, monitors, keyboards, televisions, medical sharps, tires and nothing containing asbestos or yard waste..

The city encourages residents to take full advantage of no fee clean up days. The purpose of this event is to clean up Webster City and allow residents to dispose of items that cannot be placed in the regular garbage or be recycled.

The City of Webster City reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any item or items.

The city will continue to enforce Nuisance Abatement laws for non-compliant properties.
