This is all about the ladies
Ladies’ Night Out: It's the best day(s) ever
Erin Pulis, of Webster City, shows customer Cathy Stakey, of Kamrar, a ring at Gilbert Jewelers, 604 Second St., Webster City on Tuesday. Gilbert's, along with many of participating retailers, are preparing for the ladies of Ladies Night Out that kicks off Thursday.
The ladies are coming back for their night(s) out, so prepare to party.
Ladies’ Night Out, an exclusive ladies’ shopping event that promises an evening of fashion, fun and fabulous finds begins Thursday, according to Anna Woodward, Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce director.
“This event is set to be the ultimate shopping experience for women in the Webster City area, offering a diverse array of vendors, unique products, and a festive atmosphere,” she said.
The event begins Thursday, but the fun and finds continues until Saturday, October 14, when a fashion show that was a new feature last year returns with new looks and fresh vigor. New this year: VIP Access to the Saturday morning style show.
According to Woodward, most of the retail stores participating will open daily at 10 a.m.
Did someone say pop-up?
Yes, pop-ups are back. Pop-up vendors will be open from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday; a select few pop-up shops will also offer extended hours through the weekend.
Prizes and giveaways are also returning. They’ll be offered in many of the Webster City area’s brick-and-mortar locations throughout the weekend.
“Ladies’ Night Out is not just a shopping event, it’s a celebration of women and their unique style,” Woodward said.
Here’s what attendees can look forward to:
Curated Shopping: Explore an exclusive selection of vendors offering everything from fashion, accessories, beauty products, home decor, and more. Discover one-of-a-kind items that you won’t find anywhere else.
Fashion Show: Be inspired by a fall fashion show featuring the latest trends, styled by local Webster City area boutique owners. Attendees can opt in for a VIP Access Pass offering gifts and select offers from area businesses and premier seating at the show. Complimentary brunch will follow immediately after the fashion show compliments of sponsors Crestview Nursing Home, Tami Hejlik – Abens Realty, Boone River Financial, and Platinum Connect.
Tasteful Treats: Enjoy delectable bites and refreshments from local eateries and “drinkeries.” Savor a variety of gourmet delights from pop-up vendors while you shop.
“The first 100 attendees will be offered a swag bag chock full of gifts and trinkets from our area retailers. Quantities are limited so register online today. https://bit.ly/3EVJOcR.”
Registration bags can be picked up at Five 1 Five Realty at the registration table.
Also new this year, attendees can add a limited edition commemorative wine tumbler from Swon & Company to their swag bag in their choice of colors, turquoise, pink or white.
You’ll want to reserve your seat for the style show, Woodward suggested. It’s at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1229 Kathy Lane, Webster City.
“Early booking is recommended, as this event is expected to sell out. Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends and make it a day of shopping, bonding, and creating lasting memories.”

Pink painted pumpkins sit on the street corners in downtown Webster City in honor of Ladies Night Out. Local youth helped with the preparations. Trinity Lutheran Youth group members, leaders, and storeowners worked together to paint and place pink pumpkins as part of citywide decor.
