Ladies Night Out

At Saturday's Fashion Show brunch, expect a high-energy runway experience and fall wardrobe inspiration

Cathy Olson and her granddaughter Quynn Pruismann, both of Webster City, giggle while shopping at Denim & Babes on the first night of Ladies Night Out.

What’s ahead for the third day of Ladies Night Out?

A fabulous fashion show.

The second annual Fashion Show Brunch is Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1229 Kathy Lane, Webster City. It begins at 10:30 a.m.

It will punctuate the third day of the now-three-day extravaganza that is Ladies Night Out.

Yes, it’s not about the night anymore. It’s about the ladies.

Fresh off a spree of spending, they’ll converge on Trinity for a show organized by Sarah Orton of Denim & Babes, 1600 Superior St., Webster City.

“Ladies’ Night Out debuted 21 years ago, and the annual Fashion Show is already proving to be a long-time tradition with locals,” Julie Coleman, Membership and Communications Support for the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce said. “Area boutiques and merchants, including Osweilers, Denim & Babes, Heart & Home, Back 40, and Lotus Treasures, have been working diligently to present exclusive, eye-catching layered apparel for the fall season.”

This year there are VIP access passes that come with premier seating, exclusive gifts and special offers, she said. Area businesses involved include Interior Spaces, Gilbert Jewelers, Cindi Sweedler/Pampered Chef, Osweilers, PermaLinx by jBloom, and Happily Homemade.

“What’s fashion without a touch of indulgence?” Coleman suggested. “We’re inviting everyone to make this event a girls’ day out or an annual mother-daughter tradition.”

The complimentary brunch after the fashion show is sponsored by Crestview Nursing & Rehabilitation, Tami Hejlik of Abens Realty, Boone River Financial, and Platinum Connect.

“For those interested in going the extra mile, VIP bags from Interior Spaces and our other leading area businesses mentioned are available for $25. These premium offerings will add a layer of luxury to your fashion show experience.

The event doesn’t end with the fashion show and brunch. Many downtown Main Street stores will remain open, continuing the excitement from the event’s kickoff with Ladies’ Night Out,” she said.
