Fuller Hall Games begin

Spotshot contest for youth this afternoon

Lucas Messerly keeps a watchful eye on his target Monday afternoon at Fuller Hall. Messerly and other youth came out to Fuller Hall for the kickoff day of the Fuller Hall Games, which continue throughout the week.

Local youth kicked off Christmas break with a pool tournament at Fuller Hall Recreation Center Monday afternoon.

The pool tournament had winners from three different age brackets.

In the elementary division, Lucas Messerly received first place.

In the 5th and 6th grade middle school division, Cam Carden received first place, Austin Jones received second place, and Hayden Messerly received third place.

Kaleb White and Lucas Messerly also participated in the 5th and 6th grade middle school division contest.

In the 7th and 8th grade division, Colton Jones received first place, Trey Shannon received second place, and Brendan Reynolds received third place.

The Fuller Hall Holiday Fun Week will continue throughout the week with a spot shot basketball contest today at 1:30 p.m., freethrow contest Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., and ping pong tournament Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

Sign up for each event begins at 1 p.m. before the event. All activities are free.

According to Fuller Hall Recreation Technician Mark Glascock, the ice rink is open daily from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Skating is free. Skates are available for use.

Open swim is open daily from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for all ages.
