Linda Ayers and Mike Christianson were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 2016 at 5 p.m. at the couple’s home near Brushy Creek State Park.

The bride’s friend, Movylene Haack from Remsen, Iowa officiated the ceremony.

The maid of honor was Bethany Schlotfeldt of Des Moines, daughter of the bride. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her sons, Russell Schlotfeldt of Cedar Rapids and Ryan Schlotfeldt of Ames. The groom’s best man was Dennis Modde of Des Moines, friend of the groom.

The bride carried a bouquet of paper flowers made by her friends and family.

She is the daughter of Lee and Deloris Ayers of Webster City. The bride is a graduate of Webster City High School and is currently the District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America.

The groom is the son of the late Lorimer Christianson of Des Moines and is a District Forrester for Mid-American Energy in Fort Dodge.
