Jesse Marie Pace and Daniel Lucas Stoakes

Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Davis Pace Jr. of Brookhaven, MS., and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lamar Hood of Flowood,MS., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jesse Marie Pace to Daniel Lucas Stoakes, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lee Stoakes of Webster City, Iowa.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She attended Mississippi State University where she was a member of Phi Mu sorority and served on the Panhellenic Council. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a master’s degree in nutrition, and is a 2021 graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She hopes to work in pediatric or inpatient medicine in Houston.

Her fiance is a graduate of Webster City High School. He attended Northwood University where he was a member of the Northwood Golf team. He graduated Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2015 with a Master of Business Analytics. He is currently the Senior Manager of Client Strategies at Flodder Financial Group in Katy, Texas.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at First Baptist Church Chapel in Jackson, MS. They will make their home in Houston, Texas.
