Cops and Bobbers fishing event is this Saturday

The Hamilton County Law Enforcement officers are sponsoring a Cops and Bobbers fishing event from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. This will be held at the small beach shelter at Briggs Woods Park, 2490 Briggs Woods Trail. The event is free and residents do not need a fishing license, since it is being held during the Iowa DNR free fishing weekend. The program is designed for kids ages 3-14 years of age, but adults can fish with their kids. Prizes will be given only to kids in those ages. From Tuesday through Friday each week, the Legacy Learning Art Studio offers Coffee and Create from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
